Why add your PowerPoint slides to your website?

Lets get those PowerPoint presentations you have created out of the board room and reuse them in your website resources section.

Don't convert your slides to HTML

PowerPoint includes the ability to convert your presentation to HTML. BUT it does a terrible job! The resulting HTML page is usually incompatible with all web browsers except IE.

Embed the slides into your website

Use a service like SlideShare - http://www.slideshare.net. It is the world's largest community for sharing presentations. Just like YouTube is for video.

You can embed presentations on your website either individually, or using the SlideShare widget. You can share slideshows publicly or privately. You can also synch audio to your slides. SlideShare supports clickable URLS, so put a call-to-action or a URL at the end of your deck.

You can also use SlideShare for word docs and spread sheets.
